DIPI — Desarrollo Integral de la Percepción y la Intuición, the Integral Development of Perception and Intuition — is a free educational program in which children aged 10 to 12 explore their intuition, recognise what they feel and practise listening and empathy.

What it is

Connecting with yourself. Listening to others.

DIPI helps pupils get to know themselves better and explore their intuition. It combines breathing, guided meditations, movement and perception games. Each experience invites them to observe what they feel, share it and relate it to everyday life.

In an age of screens, messages and fast stimuli, finding a moment of calm can be hard. DIPI is an invitation to pause: to quieten mental activity, breathe, and open an inner space for listening, imagining and creating.

It is an initiative of the Education Committee of the Instituto de Visión Intuitiva, born out of years of working individually with hundreds of children. We believe the chance to know yourself better and develop your inner resources should be within everyone's reach.

What it works on

Four aims we support and assess

It can complement the school's pastoral work and emotional education.

Attention

Practising a pause and returning to the task when we get distracted. A resource for study and learning.

Inner listening

Recognising how we are, expressing what we need and exploring ways of calming down before responding.

Confidence

Daring to take part, communicating an impression of one's own and learning from experience without comparing oneself to others.

Empathy and living together

Listening to a classmate, cooperating, and understanding that we can experience the same situation in different ways.

The journey

Eight meetings. One shared process.

One session a week for eight weeks, of 90 or 120 minutes, at a time agreed with the school.
